We can help in the following ways: 

• Screen reading: More and more customers are using screen reading software. This can be for various reasons, like dyslexia or slight loss. Screen reading is a quick and easy way to read documents like regular statements. With your computer reading the content of your screen, you can join the many customers who are already tracking their investments and viewing their documents online, just as they do with online banking. • Different document formats: Alternatively, we can send a document to you in Open Dyslexic font, large print or as audio documents. Please contact enquiries@quiltercheviot.com.
• Documents with Braille: This enables visually impaired clients to independently access and understand critical financial information and communications.

Managing your investment finances with hearing loss can be challenging. If you cannot contact us by phone or prefer not to, you can still stay up to date with your investments and communications from us in several ways:

• Online Portal: Access your investments securely, monitor performance, and manage details conveniently through the MyQuilterCheviot or Quilter platforms. Login or register here.
• Email Support: Contact us at enquiries@quiltercheviot.com for investment queries, forms, and appointment requests.
• In person: We have hearing loops in our offices for when you meet with your Investment Manager or Financial Planner.

You don’t need internet access to be a Quilter Cheviot client. You can contact us by telephone, and we can send you all your documents by post, including any required forms.

If you do not have a financial adviser and think your circumstances mean you could benefit from advice, we can recommend one to you.

A Financial Adviser can advise on your broader financial circumstances. They assess the investment choices available to you, as well as factors such as your attitude to risk and your goals for your investments, and then advise your best course of action.

You may want a trusted third party to deal with us on your behalf for many reasons. It might be a relative, a friend, or someone acting professionally, such as a solicitor. If you want complete support, consider a Power of Attorney - this grants the ability to instruct investment changes and withdrawals and should be a carefully considered decision.

English may not be your first language. You may still need help to learn and speak it, or you may prefer to refrain from using the phone to contact us. That’s fine; there are lots of ways to get in touch with us.

• We can speak to a family member or friend if you would like them to talk to us on your behalf. 
• If you still need to register for online access, look at how to do it here. When you log in, you can find copies of all your statements and other correspondence, keep track of your investment, and ensure we have all your details up to date.
