Tom Lovell
Investment Director

What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
Joining Quilter Cheviot International in 2019, I brought over 15 years of expertise in multi-asset offshore investment management managing investments for trusts, companies, charities, and individuals. My journey has seen me earn the CISI Level 7 Chartered Wealth Manager qualification in 2015, and I was named in the PAM Top 40 Under 40 Private Asset Managers list in 2018.
How do you approach your role on a daily basis?
In my role I've provided tailored investment solutions for trusts, companies, charities, and individuals. I strive to understand clients' goals and deliver a personalised risk aligned but outcome driven investment solution. The client-facing aspect of my role is a source of fulfilment, as I contribute to their financial success and regular communication ensures the continued alignment with their evolving objectives. As part of my wider responsibilities at Quilter Cheviot I also sit on the Jersey Executive and Investment Committees as well as heading up a team of four investment managers.
What are your interests outside of work?
Beyond the world of wealth management, I am a keen golfer but have limited time to enjoy this whilst balancing time with a young family. I am also involved in grassroots football in Jersey, having served as Vice-President on the board of directors for the Jersey Football Association until 2020 and more recently as President of a local sports, promoting football and netball for all ages.
