Role at Quilter Cheviot
My role is to work with my clients to understand their objectives, risk appetite and timescales, and to provide an investment strategy to help them meet their long-term goals. I manage their investment portfolios on a day-to-day basis to ensure that these goals are being met. Regular meetings allow us to review the strategy, confirm that it continues to be suitable or, if necessary, adapt our approach to accommodate any change in circumstances.
Scott joined Quilter Cheviot in April 2012, helping to establish the Edinburgh office. He has over thirty years’ experience in financial services, including 14 years as an Investment Manager with Close Brothers looking after private clients, pension funds and trusts.

Scott is a Chartered Wealth Manager and Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments. He is qualified to Level 6, which includes the Private Client Investment Advice and Management qualification.
Scott enjoys playing golf in the summer and snowboarding in the winter (for as long as the knee holds out!). He is a keen supporter of his local rugby club, where his son plays on the wing.
