Role at Quilter Cheviot
My main responsibility is to select the best US and European equity funds so they can be added to, and strengthen our clients’ portfolios. A key part of my role is to carry out due diligence on funds to make sure, among other things, we are aware of any risks. Samir joined Quilter Cheviot in Jan 2021. Prior to his current role he was part of the Multi-Asset team at Aberdeen Standard Investments undertaking portfolio management and research across a variety of sectors and strategies.Contact information

Samir graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in Economics and he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder. He also holds the Certificate in ESG Investing issues by the CFA Society (UK).
Samir is an enthusiastic (but not good!) golfer. He also enjoys watching sports, in particular rugby.
