What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
My journey in investment management began over 20 years ago, encompassing a diverse range of financial roles. I have worked with global firms such as HBOS, BNY Mellon, Shore Capital Stockbrokers, and Equiniti, gaining valuable experience in mortgage underwriting, asset servicing, trading floor operations, and private banking. This dynamic path led me to my current role as an Investment Administrator at Quilter Cheviot, which I have held for several years. My qualifications and extensive experience have driven my commitment to wealth management.
How do you approach your role on a daily basis?
As an Investment Administrator, my role involves supporting the needs of our clients and ensuring the smooth operation of their investment portfolios. While I primarily work behind the scenes, my contributions are integral to the client experience. I ensure their investments are managed efficiently and effectively, helping them achieve their financial goals. My satisfaction comes from enabling my team to provide a top-class service to our clients.
What are your interests outside of work?
Beyond my professional interests, I am a guitarist who enjoys creating and recording music, often in collaboration with other musicians. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling and walking.
