What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
My journey in wealth management began over 25 years ago when I joined HSBC James Capel on a university placement year. Since then, I've accumulated over a decade of experience with this firm, then moved on to roles at Berry Asset Management, Quartet Capital Partners, and now Quilter Cheviot, where I've been serving as an Investment Manager. Throughout this journey, my passion for managing investments and helping clients grow their wealth has been a driving force.
How do you approach your role on a daily basis?
As an Investment Manager at Quilter Cheviot, I've been actively serving clients for nearly 11 years. I believe in personalized service, tailoring portfolios to meet each client's unique financial objectives. I manage investments for private clients, family trusts, charities, and corporate entities. Regular and direct communication is vital to understanding their evolving goals and needs. This approach helps clients stay aligned with their financial aspirations.
What are your interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I have a deep passion for supporting Arsenal football. It's a great way to unwind and connect with the sport. Professionally, I remain deeply interested in staying updated with the ever-evolving financial landscape, keeping my knowledge and skills sharp. In my personal time, I enjoy exploring the world of sports, be it through watching matches or participating in outdoor activities, which helps me maintain a balanced and active lifestyle.
