What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
My career in wealth management began as a Trainee Investment Manager at Quilter Cheviot. I pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance at Newcastle University, which laid the foundations of a career in wealth management. The allure of this field lies in its dynamic nature and the opportunity to apply financial knowledge to help individuals and organisations grow their wealth.
How do you approach your role on a daily basis?
Over my 5 year career with quilter cheviot, my role has evolved into a client-facing capacity now as a Chartered Investment Adviser. I prioritise personal service, tailoring investment strategies to meet the unique needs and objectives of each client. Regular communication and in-person meetings are essential for ensuring that portfolios align with evolving goals, reflecting my commitment to delivering customised solutions for clients.
What are your interests outside of work?
Beyond my professional interests in wealth management, I balance my life by pursuing a passion for rugby as a semi-professional player for Caldy RFC in the RFU English Championship. This commitment to sports aligns with my love for team sports for and maintaining a healthy and sociable lifestyle.
