I’m responsible for ensuring that the holdings in our client’s portfolios match their risk profile. I work closely with Investment Managers to make sure they have the information and tools needed to understand investment risks, and make changes to portfolios where and when appropriate. I also have oversight of performance calculation.
Nick joined us in 2015 to set up the Investment Risk function. Before Quilter Cheviot, he was an Investment Risk Manager at Baring Asset Management, and prior to that worked for MSCI building Barra risk models.

Nick graduated from Oxford University with a degree in mathematics, followed by a Masters in Statistics from University College, London. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder, and holds the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation.
Nick is a church organist, and keen pianist. He is trustee of an Oxford based arts charity, and enjoys hill walking and playing football.
