What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
The main attraction for me is having the opportunity to make a difference. My favourite part of each day is engaging with our clients and understanding their unique story.
I started my journey with the Quilter family in 2016 in Southampton, where I supported the Investment Platform side of the business. Throughout those six years in different roles, I gained a real understanding of our clients’ needs, and how the products we offer can help meet their financial goals.
In 2022 I joined the Quilter Cheviot team in Bristol as an Investment Administrator and Office Manager. I am now studying for my Level 4 qualification in Investment Advice, with the end goal of becoming an Investment Manager.
What would you like to achieve for clients?
Between processing mail, generating forms and documents, and promptly executing client instructions, I handle essential administrative duties. Additionally, I assist with suitability reviews, ensuring that our services align with our clients' needs and expectations.
I also play a pivotal role in maintaining the office space and its facilities, creating a comfortable and productive environment for our team. Hosting client meetings and private events is another key aspect of my role – allowing our clients have an exceptional experience and aiding my colleagues in achieving their professional objectives.
What are your interests outside of work?
Outside of work, my biggest passion is music. Combined with my love for travel, you will often find me on a transatlantic flight, concert ticket in hand! Exploring America with close friends is my favourite way to spend my annual leave. Weekends with family are also important to me - trying out new restaurants or cooking fun dishes at home.
Throughout my career, I have discovered a strong passion for helping others, which was enriched by my time volunteering in the NHS. Making a positive impact on people's lives has become a big goal for me, both personally and professionally.
