Role at Quilter Cheviot
I am a senior member of the Collectives Research Team and have responsibility for fund selection across all UK Equity sectors and Private Equity investments. My core responsibilities include providing investment fund recommendations to both Quilter Cheviot and the Quilter Investors Multi-Asset team for investment across their client portfolios. I also perform ongoing due diligence on my recommendations. Communicating the progress of my recommendations and changes to strategy within the UK and Private Equity fund sectors also forms an important part of my role.
Matt has over 20 years of experience working in the investment industry managing client portfolios and researching investments. Prior to joining Quilters in 2019, Matt has held Investment Director positions at Walker Crips, Baker Tilly and Baring Asset Management.

Matt graduated from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Economics and Computing and has a Masters degree from the University of Leeds. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Matt is a keen cricketer and runner and enjoys the trials and tribulations of supporting Liverpool Football Club.
