Main responsibility is to provide 2nd line oversight of QC Europe’s implementation of the Group Risk Framework and report on the effectiveness of the firms controls framework to QC Europe’s management team and Board and to support the development and delivery of an effective 2nd line assurance programme.
Maria joined Quilter Cheviot in 2003 and has over 20 years’ experience in the investment management industry. She spent 7 years with Davy as an investment manager prior to joining Quilter Cheviot.

Maria graduated from Dublin City University with a degree in Accounting & Finance and she is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (MSCI).
Maria also graduated from UCD in 2020 with a Professional Certificate in Conduct Risk, Culture and Operational Risk Management and was awarded the PRMIA Operational Risk Manager Certificate.
Outside of work Maria has a busy family life with three young kids. She a keen runner and her other interests range from travelling to gardening to attending music events.
