What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
I was drawn to the finance sector because climate is increasingly being recognised as both a significant risk to factor into investment decisions, and as a great opportunity, as more investors are increasingly interested in reducing the environmental impact of their financial decisions. Much of my career to date has involved working with companies to understand and manage risks related to climate change, so I’m excited to use my experience to develop an effective climate strategy at Quilter Cheviot.
How do you approach your role on a daily basis?
I'm focused on integrating climate considerations into Quilter Cheviot's investment and engagement practices. My primary focus is on developing our investment climate action plan, including setting net-zero commitments and targets. I also lead engagements to assess how companies manage climate risk, including their climate transition plans.
What are your interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors gardening, cycling, and practicing botany. I also enjoy volunteering in my community and am an avid reader.
