What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
I entered the world of wealth management in 2006, commencing my journey with Cheviot, which later merged with Quilter. Since then, I've specialized in discretionary investment management for private clients, trusts, offshore bonds, and charities. My extensive experience, combined with a commitment to client success, has guided my career path. As a Chartered Fellow of the Securities Institute, I find fulfilment in tailoring bespoke investment portfolios that align with each client's unique financial circumstances.
How do you approach your role on a daily basis?
My role as an Investment Director has been a 5-year journey, with a background that includes serving as an Investment Manager for over a decade. I collaborate directly with clients and partner with financial advisers to provide tailored investment solutions that adhere to suitability regulations. This client-focused approach ensures that we meet their financial objectives and cultivate a robust financial partnership.
What are your interests outside of work?
Beyond my professional endeavours, I have a passion for tennis and am currently learning to play golf. These interests offer a welcome change of pace and allow me to stay active. I'm also keen on building relationships with solicitors, accountants, and financial advisers to provide holistic wealth solutions to my clients.
