What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
I embarked on my journey in wealth management over three decades ago, joining Quilter Cheviot in November 2003. My role as a Senior Associate - Executive Assistant to the CEO allowed me to gain valuable insights into the industry. This experience, coupled with my personal assistant roles at organizations like BNY Mellon and Coopers & Lybrand, instilled a deep understanding of the financial world. It was the dynamic nature of wealth management and the opportunity to work closely with top-level executives that drew me to this career.
How do you approach your role on a daily basis?
Over my 20 years at Quilter Cheviot, my role as a Senior Associate has evolved from supporting the CEO to serving as a Personal Assistant to the Managing Director. This client-facing role involves providing dedicated support to high-level executives, ensuring the smooth operation of their responsibilities. My commitment to offering top-notch assistance helps clients achieve their objectives, as I play a vital role in managing their needs and expectations.
What are your interests outside of work?
Outside of my professional life, I hold a deep passion for travel, exploring new places and cultures. Family is at the core of my personal interests, and I cherish quality time spent with loved ones. These pursuits allow me to find balance and inspiration outside the office, making me a more effective and well-rounded professional in the wealth management industry.
