Kevin Kelly

Regional Development Manager
Belfast

What attracted you to a career in wealth management?

My career is now in excess of 30 years having started in 1988. In that time, I have seen many changes not only in the Financial Services industry but in the Investment Management sector and bring a wealth of experience in investments, pensions, trust planning and protection solutions.

I started my career in Standard Life as a Technical Consultant and then worked for a number of other Life Offices as a Business Development Manager including Pearl, NPI, and Zurich before joining Quilter Cheviot in 2015.

The move from a Life Office background to distribution in the Wealth Management sector has been seamless and rewarding providing strong lasting business relationships with all our professional partners in Northern Ireland.

I am a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and hold a Diploma in Financial Planning from the Personal Finance Society.

How do you work with / look after clients?

My primary role is dealing with Advisers and Professional Connections in the province enabling our partners to provide high quality solutions from Quilter Cheviot to ensure every client has a pathway to achieving their investment goals.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work, I try and spend as much time as possible with my wife and our two children. The North Antrim Coast is a favourite spot where we all enjoy walking our dog, Oscar.

I am a keen, but terrible, golfer and can be regularly found at my local course looking for my golf ball in places no one ought to be!

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
