Joshua Bond

Trainee Investment Manager
Birmingham

What attracted you to a career in wealth management?

Having recently studied for both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in finance, at Lancaster University and the University of Liverpool respectively, a career in wealth management offered the perfect opportunity to apply my knowledge of the financial markets, alongside building lasting relationships with generations of families.

As I progress along the qualification pathway towards becoming a Chartered Wealth Manager, it is rewarding, and exciting, to be able to engage with a diverse range of clients at different stages of achieving their long-term financial goals.

How do you approach your role on a daily basis?

Since joining the Quilter Cheviot Birmingham office in October 2022, I have benefitted from working alongside a team of investment managers and administrators – providing daily support and portfolio administration to ensure clients are able to make informed decisions based on reliable and accurate information.

What are your interests outside of work?

Away from work I often spend time socialising with friends or keeping active through a range of different activities such as football and running. I also have a keen interest in genealogy – of which I enjoy sharing and conversing with family.

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
