Jean McBurnie

Investment Administrator
Glasgow

What attracted you to a career in wealth management?

I embarked on my career with a 28-year tenure at Clydesdale Bank. The financial industry has always captivated me, particularly the dynamic nature of wealth management. My qualifications and extensive experience, combined with a passion for client interaction, drew me into the world of investment management, where I have thrived for nearly 13 years.

How do you approach your role on a daily basis?

As an investment administrator, my role involves providing crucial support to the team in managing client portfolios. My focus is on ensuring that clients receive the best service possible. While I'm not in a direct client-facing role, I work behind the scenes to help maintain the high level of care and attention they deserve.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of my professional life, I have a keen interest in staying physically active, enjoying outdoor activities like walking and cycling. I find that being in the great outdoors provides a refreshing balance to my work.

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
