What attracted you to a career in wealth management?

My journey into wealth management is rooted in a diverse background. I started my career as a National Account Manager, overseeing and maintaining key client relationships. The experience gained there, coupled with my subsequent roles, provided me with a strong foundation in client-focused roles and relationship management. Transitioning to Quilter Cheviot as a Trainee Investment Manager, I was drawn to wealth management by the opportunity to apply my experience and embark on a career path centred on making informed investment decisions.

How do you approach your role on a daily basis?

As a Trainee Investment Manager at Quilter Cheviot, I'm involved in a range of activities that contribute to the well-being of our clients. My responsibilities include managing investment portfolios, conducting research, and staying informed about market trends. In this role I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with clients to understand their unique goals and financial aspirations. It's rewarding to assist them in achieving their objectives through tailored investment strategies and maintaining a client-facing role is what initially drew me to this profession.

What are your interests outside of work?

Beyond my professional pursuits, I find enjoyment in cycling. It's a passion that keeps me active and offers a welcome contrast to the demands of my professional life. Cycling allows me to explore new landscapes and helps me recharge, providing a sense of balance.

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
