Trainee investment manager

What attracted you to a career in wealth management?

At the start of my professional studies and early training within the financial sector, I soon decided that I wanted to pursue a career in Wealth Management. I began my career as a Client Services Associate at Fidelity International after studying BSc Psychology with Criminology, graduating with a 2.1. I gained further industry experience working as an Investment Administrator at Brooks Macdonald before joining Quilter Cheviot in 2019 to work with two Investment Managers assisting with the management of portfolios for private clients, pensions, trusts, charities, and funds, including the award-winning Climate Assets and Libero Balanced Funds. I have since completed my CISI Investment Administration Diploma and have been promoted to Trainee Investment Manager, currently studying towards the CISI Chartered Wealth Manager qualification. I embrace this next step in my aspiration to become an Investment Manager and I am proud of my personal and professional growth achieved through my time at Quilter Cheviot.

What would you like to achieve for clients?

In my role, I work closely with my team to support with the management of our clients’ long-term financial requirements. My priority is to ensure the seamless administration of client portfolios and to maintain an open and honest relationship with our clients. I supervise the more junior members of our team, providing ongoing support and training to ensure we continue to provide a high level of service to our clients and deliver on expectations. I thoroughly enjoy interacting with our clients and assisting with any queries or requests.

What else are you passionate about?

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends and particularly enjoy doing so whilst travelling. I have most recently taken trips around Europe, and I would like to tour Australia and visit my relatives there in the not so distance future. I also enjoy keeping active by attending group classes at my local gym.

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
