What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
My journey in investment management began as an Equity Trader, with a focus on proprietary trading, client order flow, and risk management. Over the years, I've worked in various roles, from managing funds to building trading systems. Joining Quilter Cheviot as an Investment Manager in 2016 allowed me to further enhance my financial expertise. The opportunity to understand individual investment goals and tailor portfolios to meet them was a compelling aspect of this career path.
How do you approach your role on a daily basis?
In my role as an Investment Manager, I've been dedicated to managing bespoke portfolios that align with clients' unique preferences and objectives. I strive for personal service, recognizing that each client has distinct needs. Through frequent communication and regular meetings, I ensure that their investment strategy remains in sync with their evolving goals. My focus is to empower clients, whether they're investing substantial sums or looking for diversified investment options. It's the client-facing aspect of my role that truly motivates me.
What are your interests outside of work?
Beyond work, I'm an active golf and tennis player, enjoying the appeal of both sports. These activities not only provide a physical challenge but also serve as excellent opportunities to unwind.
