Investment Director

What attracted you to a career in wealth management?

A core part of being a successful private client manager is an ability to build relationships with people. After completing my degree in Economics and Politics, and then subsequently working with several US banks, I wanted to use both the knowledge gained at university as well as my people skills and private client investment management gave me that opportunity. My job allows me to use both my IQ and EQ in equal measures which ensures that I can provide a professional service to a wide range of clients.

My everyday goal through my career has been to ensure that my clients and adviser have confidence in what I do for them.

What would you like to achieve for clients?

My main priority is to ensure a seamless, transparent and trustworthy relationship with clients. I personally believe this to be the only way to thrive as an Investment Manager, while ensuring the highest possible client satisfaction. My clients know that their investment portfolios are taken care of with the highest qualitative standards, backed by extensive research and unique industry insights. I pride myself with the trust clients have in me to make the right financial decisions to meet their financial goals, and I strive to exceed their expectations whenever possible.

What are your interests outside of work?

Sport. Playing it; watching it; teaching it; talking about it. My garden is strewn with footballs, rugby balls, old tennis balls. I still get out on the tennis court (when I’m not running around after two young children) when I can and coach rugby at Beckenham Rugby Club and whilst I still feel I play like a 21-year-old, my knees tell me otherwise.

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
