What attracted me to a career in wealth management?
My journey into wealth management was a natural progression in my 30-year career in the finance industry. Having worked at esteemed institutions like NatWest Bank and Barclays Bank in similar roles, I joined Quilter Cheviot in 1994. This path allowed me to bring my expertise to a firm with a rich history in wealth management. My qualifications and experience have been instrumental in my passion for serving clients effectively.
How do you approach your role on a daily basis?
As a member of the Administration team, my role focuses on account opening and supporting Private Clients, Trusts, Corporations, and Intermediaries. I assist in completing necessary documentation and due diligence promptly, providing an efficient and friendly service to both new and long-standing clients. Collaborating with Investment and Business Development Managers, my client-facing role is driven by a commitment to delivering tailored assistance to help clients achieve their financial goals.
What are your interests outside of work?
Beyond my professional commitments, I'm passionate about sea swimming and often take a dip in the sea before I start my working day. Regular swimming training also keeps me active, enabling me to participate in the annual local swimarathon benefiting local charities. I'm a devoted wife and mother of two, and my family is at the heart of my personal life.
