What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
My journey began when I joined Cheviot in 2011. I was part of the team that established Cheviot's first office outside London and have since served as a client-facing Investment Director. With a Chartered Fellowship from the Chartered Securities & Investment Institute (Chartered FSCI), I've gained a strong foundation. My prior role at Deutsche Bank in Private Wealth Management further enriched my experience. This combination of qualifications and practical experience drew me to wealth management, allowing me to work closely with clients to achieve their financial goals.
How do you approach your role on a daily basis?
As an Executive Director, I've spent over a decade working directly with clients, managing portfolios for individuals, trusts, charities, and pension funds. I prioritise building personalised portfolios that align with each client's unique objectives and circumstances. This involves regular and open communication to ensure their investments are tailored to their expectations. Being client-facing has always been a passion for me, and I find it rewarding to help clients navigate the complexities of the financial world.
What are your interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy activities like yoga, which help me maintain a balanced perspective. My family is incredibly important to me, and I cherish moments spent with them. It's a joy to explore new places and experiences together.
