What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
With over 25 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry, I joined Quilter Cheviot in 2023. My journey started with an Honours degree in Economics and Geography in 1996, followed by a Higher Diploma in Finance in 1997 from Maynooth University. Professionally, I am a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) and a Registered Stockbroker. My career path has taken me through Bank of America, Goodbody Stockbrokers, and Cantor Fitzgerald Ireland, where I gained extensive experience advising corporate and private clients, family-owned businesses, and charities. The opportunity to help clients achieve their financial goals drew me to this rewarding field.
How do you approach your role on a daily basis?
As an Investment Manager, I've been advising clients for over two decades. My role at Quilter Cheviot focuses on corporate and private clients, family-owned businesses, and charities. I prioritize personalized service and believe in tailoring investment portfolios to meet the unique objectives and expectations of each client. Regular communication and in-person meetings ensure that we stay aligned with their evolving needs. This client-facing role allows me to make a meaningful impact on their financial well-being.
What are your interests outside of work?
Beyond my professional interests, I maintain a well-rounded life. I'm an avid runner, having completed marathons in Ireland and Europe, and I enjoy playing golf. Additionally, I'm passionate about coaching underage rugby, combining my love for sports and community involvement. These pursuits help me stay active, both physically and in the community, and provide a refreshing balance to my work in wealth management.
