What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
I joined Quilter Cheviot in 2008, initially on the SIPP Support team. Over the years, my role evolved to managing investment portfolios and looking after clients. Eager to deepen my knowledge, I obtained various qualifications, including the Diploma in Wealth Management and the Certificate in Private Client Investment Advice and Management. The allure of wealth management lies in the dynamic nature of investment strategies and helping clients achieve their financial goals.
How do you approach your role on a daily basis?
My role entails managing investment portfolios and maintaining high service standards for our clients and intermediaries. I work closely with our team to ensure clients' investments align with their objectives. I find fulfilment in understanding what each client hopes to achieve and constructing tailored portfolios. Open, honest communication is key, and it is this client-centric focus that draws me to my role.
What are your interests outside of work?
Beyond the office, I am a fitness enthusiast who enjoys pushing my limits in various races and challenges. Exploring different cultures and cuisines with my wife is a passion.
