Business Development Manager

What attracted you to a career in wealth management?

My journey into wealth management was influenced by over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector. I began my career at Prudential UK, where I worked as an Account Manager for five and a half years. This experience provided a strong foundation in financial services and allowed me to gain insights into client relationships. I then transitioned into a role as a Business Development Manager at Royal London, where I continued to refine my skills in client interaction and financial services. This path, coupled with my role as a Relationship Manager at Quilter Cheviot, has been instrumental in my attraction to wealth management.

How do you approach your role on a daily basis?

In my current role as a Business Development Manager at Quilter Cheviot, I am responsible for nurturing client relationships and growing our business in the west region. Having worked in client-facing roles for several years, I understand the importance of personal service. By providing tailored guidance, fostering regular communication, and leveraging my industry expertise, I assist clients in achieving their financial goals. I find fulfilment in making a positive impact on their financial well-being, which is what drew me to this client-facing role.

What are your interests outside of work?

Beyond my professional commitments, I have a passion for boxing and actively engage in this sport as a way to stay physically fit and maintain a healthy work-life balance. I'm also involved in a project that focuses on proofreading and ensuring the accuracy of articles. These activities, both personal and professional, contribute to my well-rounded interests outside of work.

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
