What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
I have worked in financial services for over 40 years and have held many senior management roles leading teams of financial planners in the wealth management, insurance, and banking sectors. For 6 years prior to joining Quilter Private Client Advisers, I lead a large team of regulated financial services professionals working alongside the industry regulator (the FCA) and several large financial institutions. I have developed and implemented many processes that have resulted in ‘quality’ outcomes for clients. I joined Quilter Private Client Advisers in August 2017 initially leading the Yorkshire Region and now have the responsibility for the growth and development of the North-East & Midlands Region, drawing on my considerable leadership experience.
How do you approach your role on a daily basis?
My aim is to ensure that my Financial Planners supported by their support staff deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients who are at the heart of everything that we do at Quilter Private Client Advisers.
What are your interests outside of work?
Outside of work I enjoy being outdoors and spend many hours a week walking as well as spending time with my 9 grandchildren. I also do voluntary work and have been a Samaritan for the past 10 years.
