What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
I was drawn to a career in wealth management due to my passion for finance and the desire to help individuals and families achieve their financial goals. Growing up in South Africa, I witnessed the profound impact financial decisions can have on people's lives.. Wealth management allows me to merge my financial acumen with a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others, which is incredibly fulfilling.
How do you approach your role on a daily basis?
At Quilter Cheviot Financial Planning, I embrace my responsibilities with a client-centric approach. I believe that consistent client engagement is crucial to ensuring their financial objectives align seamlessly with their evolving goals. Working in a client-facing capacity allows me to guide them through their unique financial journeys, actively contributing to their long-term success. It is not just about managing assets; it's about building enduring relationships and being a trusted partner in their financial endeavours.
What are your interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I am passionate about sports, drawing from my background of playing provincial sports in South Africa. I also continue to engage in various charity projects, extending my commitment to community and responsibility beyond the workplace. Additionally, I enjoy exploring the cultural offerings of travel, reflecting my appreciation for diversity and the perspective it brings.
