What attracted you to a career in wealth management?

If I had to choose one element that attracted me to wealth management, it would be knowing that I have made a difference to our external and internal clients futures. After completing my degree, I entered a Trainee Management Scheme where I learnt how to coach my team to be the best they can be, to deliver outstanding service to their clients.  Making a tangible impact on people’s lives was important to me and I developed my knowledge and skills, to evolve from working in a retail environment to Wealth Management. From my first role to my current one, as a Financial Planning Manager, my everyday goal through my career has, and will always be, making a positive impact on my team and their client’s success.

What would you like to achieve for clients?

My main priority is to ensure clients receive transparent, straight forward, financial planning advice. I personally believe this to be the best way to build mutually beneficial relationships, while ensuring the highest possible client satisfaction. My ambition is for clients to know that their financial plans are taken care of with the highest qualitative standards, and reviewed on a regular basis to ensure they are on track to achieve their objectives.

What else are you passionate about in life?

Outside of work, besides spending quality time with my family and friends, I love weightlifting. I enjoy challenging myself both mentally and physically, to increase the amount of weight I can lift for a long and healthy life. I find that this helps me to be at my best both personally and professionally. Alongside this, I love to cook, especially different cuisines. I have explored cold water swimming and I am debating as to whether, I can muster the courage to continue this as a year round activity.

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
