What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
I began my career at Brooks Macdonald, an investment management firm, after completing a degree in Politics and Sociology at Durham University.
From there, I qualified as an Investment Manager before moving to Quilter Cheviot in 2020. and have built up a book of clients who I feel fortunate to look after. I have over 15 years of investment experience having started in the industry in 2006.
I have a particular interest in helping women take control of their finances through every stages of life as well as assisting through lifestyle changes such as bereavement and divorce. I have been nominated for Investment Week’s Women in Investment Awards on several occasions.
I am involved in Quilter Cheviot’s Advising Female Clients initiative as championing women in all areas of investment is an area of interest to me personally.
How do you work with / look after clients?
I manage investment portfolios working closely with financial advisers and other professionals when needed. My primary role is the management of private client, trust and pension portfolios. I aim to build long term relationships and provide an excellent and personalised service.
I am passionate about not just providing the right advice and solutions, but also being approachable and helping cut through the jargon and confusion of the financial world so my clients have a better understanding of their financial affairs and get on with enjoying their lives without having to worry.
What are your interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I am always to keen to get outdoors with my dog Ralphie. I also enjoy socializing with friends, eating out and London life as well as foreign travel and the odd game of golf and tennis.
