Amisha Chohan
Executive Director, Head of Small Cap Strategy
London
What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
My journey began with a strong academic foundation in finance. I graduated in Business Finance from the University of Durham and earned an MA in Finance and Investment from the University of Nottingham. Prior to joining Quilter Cheviot in 2016, I honed my skills at Sanlam Securities, where I specialised in small cap consumer stocks. I've been privileged to serve as the Head of Small Cap Strategy at Quilter Cheviot since August 2021 and my role analysing UK small cap companies, portfolio construction and marketing.
How do you approach your role on a daily basis?
My client-facing approach is rooted in understanding the unique goals and needs of each investor. Whether it's private clients, family trusts, or corporate entities, I believe in tailoring investment portfolios to match their specific requirements. Regular communication and in-depth analysis allow me to provide a personalized and comprehensive service that helps clients achieve their financial objectives.
What are your interests outside of work?
Beyond the world of finance, I find solace in skiing. The fresh mountain air provides a relaxing escape from the city's hustle and bustle.
