What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
With over 30 years in the financial industry, my journey to wealth management began as I transitioned from roles in renowned firms such as Skandia, Legal & General, and Scottish Mutual. I've always been drawn to helping advisers make great investment decisions for their clients. This passion for investment management led me to Quilter Cheviot in 2011, where since I've been committed to delivering bespoke investment solutions for private individuals, charities, trusts, and pension funds.
How do you approach your role on a daily basis?
My focus is on building and nurturing professional relationships to provide tailored investment strategies. I firmly believe in a client-centric approach, understanding that every investor has unique goals and requirements. This involves working with advisers to produce regular, open communication and personalized portfolio management, ensuring that clients' investments align with their financial aspirations.
What are your interests outside of work?
Beyond my professional life, I find balance as a martial arts instructor, embracing the discipline and principles it offers. Long walks with my dog help me switch off and connect with the beautiful Wirral countryside.
