What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
I entered the world of wealth management in 2005 after graduating from the University of Birmingham with a degree in money, banking, and finance. I embarked on this path with a commitment to building a strong foundation of knowledge and qualifications. Over the years, I've earned the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and the Securities & Investment Institute Diploma, achieving a distinction in the Private Client Investment Advice & Management paper. I now hold the esteemed title of Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. My passion lies in crafting tailored investment strategies for individuals, Charities, Trusts, and pension schemes.
How do you approach your role on a daily basis?
I have been dedicated to managing investment portfolios for over 15 years, specialising in personalised solutions for individuals, Charities, Trusts, and pension schemes. My client-focused approach involves close collaboration, regular communication, and a deep understanding of their financial aspirations. I work diligently to create portfolios that align with their unique goals. This client-facing role enables me to make a tangible impact on their financial well-being.
What are your interests outside of work?
Beyond my professional commitments, I find enjoyment in playing golf and maintaining an active lifestyle. Additionally, I hold the role of Co-Director of the Chance Heritage Trust, reflecting my commitment to heritage preservation. These pursuits outside of work allow me to strike a balance between my personal interests and my dedication to financial management.
