Ruth Lynch

Regional Development Manager
Leicester

What attracted you to a career in wealth management?

With over 15 years in the financial services sector, my path began at Personal Touch Financial Services. During my tenure there, I held various positions, ultimately reaching Wealth Manager and Wealth Development Manager roles. I moved to Quilter Financial Planning in 2017 and spent 5 years there, starting as a Field Coach and advancing to the role of Relationship Manager. I moved to Quilter Cheviot in 2023 as a Regional Development Manager for the Leicester office. This journey, started with passing my DIPFA Level 4 Diploma in 2012 and in 2023 achieving level 6 Chartered Status. I have always had an interest in the financial markets.

How do you approach your role on a daily basis?

Currently as a Regional Development Manager and previously as a Relationship Manager my focus centres on building relationships with financial advisers. I do this through a variety of ways like one-on-one meetings, technical workshops and investment lunches.

What are your interests outside of work?

Beyond my professional commitments, I am married and have a 11 year son. My weekends consist of watching my son play football and household duties.

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
