What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
With over 25 years of experience across various roles and sectors in the financial services industry, I've honed my customer relationship skills and developed a deep understanding of the investment industry. My educational journey took me from Arran High School to Edinburgh, where I spent 17 years before returning to the West Coast. In 2014, I graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with a BA (Hons) Business Management with Accounting Degree. This background led me to wealth management, where I now provide vital administrative support for Investment Managers in Glasgow.
How do you look after clients?
In my role, I assist Investment Managers by facilitating client account openings and managing the transfer of investments to QC. While not in a client-facing role directly, I play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of client accounts and services. This indirectly contributes to the client's experience and helps them achieve their financial goals.
What are your interests outside of work?
Beyond the office, I find solace at the stables with my horse, Asha, where I enjoy horse riding. I also indulge in home baking and have taken up the art of Calligraphy in my spare time, exploring my creative side.
