What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
I have had the privilege of working in the investment management industry for 40 years, starting with organisations including Neilson Hornby, Robert White, Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management, and now Quilter Cheviot. Over the years I have become a fully qualified investment manager and achieved a Fellowship of the Chartered Securities Institute. My career has been driven by a fascination with stock markets and investing and I have been fortunate to work with a diverse range of clients, from private clients and trusts to charities.
How do you approach your role on a daily basis?
As an Investment Director at Quilter Cheviot, I have been managing portfolios and nurturing strong client relationships for most of my career. I cater to client needs on both a discretionary and advisory basis and I've dedicated my efforts to establishing relationships with several IFA organisations. My role is all about understanding each clients’ unique goals and circumstances and tailoring their investment portfolios to match these objectives.
What are your interests outside of work?
Beyond the world of wealth management, I follow the fortunes of Everton Football Club and am particularly excited about the prospect of watching the Club at their new stadium on the banks of the River Mersey.
