What attracted you to a career in wealth management?

My journey into wealth management took a fairly unusual path. After more than two decades at Legal & General, where I held various roles in the financial sector, I decided to take a career break in 2010 when my son was born. In 2015, I re-entered the financial services sector, joining an IFA firm. This role involved client processing for investments, pensions, mortgages, and protection, as well as supporting the IFA's daily tasks. In 2019, I joined Quilter Cheviot as an Investment Assistant, where I assist the Investment Director and the team in providing exceptional customer service to our investment clients.

How do you approach your role on a daily basis?

My primary role is to support the Investment Director and the team in delivering top-notch service to our investment clients. I handle communication with both clients and Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs). My responsibilities include preparing for client meetings, conducting suitability reviews, and addressing inquiries related to new and exciting business. I thrive on facilitating a seamless and efficient experience for our clients and ensuring that their financial needs are met.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work, I am an enthusiastic swimmer and have recently taken up yoga.

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
