What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
My journey to wealth management took a unique route, transitioning from Hospitality Management to Quilter Cheviot in 2017. I initially joined the Finance Team and later moved to the front office within our Climate Assets team. Qualifications, including the CISI Investment Operations Certificate and the Capital Markets Certificate, have fuelled my passion for this field. In 2023, I achieved Trainee Investment Manager status and am currently pursuing the Chartered Wealth Master Level 7 award. The opportunity to align my career with my core values, as a Responsible Investment champion and an award-winning team member, has been a driving force in my wealth management career.
How do you look after clients?
As part of Team Arthursson, my role involves meticulously managing clients' portfolios, including personal accounts, private pensions, and trusts. I've been doing this since August 2020, and each day, I aim to make the process seamless for colleagues and clients alike. My commitment to achieving this goal has earned me the Quilter Dependable award. Personalized service and teamwork are at the core of my approach, aligning with Quilter's values.
What are your interests outside of work?
Beyond my professional pursuits, I cherish the time spent with my daughter and two dachshunds, often taking forest walks with them. In addition to the joy of family life, one of my proudest moments was completing the Winter Walk London Marathon in January 2023, raising funds for a Bowel Cancer charity. These activities allow me to find balance and rejuvenation outside of work while staying connected to my core values.
