Callum Beaufoy
Trainee Investment Manager
Birmingham
What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
A keen interest in stock markets and investing led to my journey into wealth management, beginning shortly after I graduated from De Montfort University with a First Class Honours in Business and Management. While working at Caljam Limited, I transitioned to a role at Quilter Cheviot as an Investment Administrator in 2022. Over the years, I diligently completed industry-standard exams, eventually becoming a Level 4 qualified Trainee Investment Manager.
How do you approach your role on a daily basis?
In my role as a Trainee Investment Manager at Quilter Cheviot, I provide support in portfolio construction, investment ideas, and proposals. My goal is to fully understand what clients hope to achieve through investing, working closely with them to comprehend their goals and circumstances. I believe in constructing portfolios that are easy to understand and perform as expected. I'm also dedicated to open and honest communication, both within the team and with our clients.
What are your interests outside of work?
Beyond my professional pursuits, I enjoy watching the Six Nations, travelling and playing a round of 18 holes when time permits.
